Alisa Barber portrays one of the most central characters on Spacegate Station, the Chief Communication Officer. She is the "glue that keeps the space station together." Over the last 27 years, her teaching career has included both informal and formal classroom teaching. She has worked for the Jacksonville Museum of Science and History as well as the Jacksonville Challenger Learning Center. Alisa has taught Middle School Science in Tampa and Jacksonville and is presently a STEM Instructor for the Duval County Public Schools Department of Science. Rebecca Miller, the Chief Science Officer of the Lunar Colony, also doubles as the voice of the precocious and sometimes humorous character Aurora. An educator for 26 years, she presently works as the STEM Outreach Specialist for the Career & Technical Education Department of Duval County Public Schools. She began her career as a Language Arts and Social Studies teacher before she made the shift to Instructional Media and STEM Education. Pete Carafano, the Chief Science Officer of Spacegate, also doubles as the co-creator, writer, and producer for the show. Dr. Carafano has been an educator for 18 years with experience in high school chemistry and Health sciences. He is the K-12 STEM Coordinator for Duval County Public Schools and actively works in developing and supporting STEM-based initiatives for the district which includes Spacegate Station. Emily Collins, the Spacegate Station Commander, has been an educator for 18 years with experience in middle and high school mathematics. She is a district secondary mathematics supervisor with Duval County Public Schools. She actively works with math support specialists and schools to improve the understanding and implementation of course-specific structures for student growth and proficiency. Chelsea Ross, the Spacegate Station Chief Engineer, has been an educator for 10 years with experience in middle school science and high school Biology. She is a district K-12 STEM Specialist with Duval County Public Schools. She actively works within the district to support STEM instruction, specializing in Robotics and Coding integration in science. John Phillips is the technical talent behind Spacegate Station. Besides being the co-creator of the program, he serves as the Director, Cameraman, and Editor for the production. For the last 22 years, John has been the Department Head of Broadcast & Satellite Services for Duval County Public Schools, a position he transitioned to after six years as a teacher in Duval.
